Cost of translation (price list)

Dear customers!

The Translation Agency APRIL has been on Ukrainian, CIS and world market for 12 years. As a result, we have come to conclusion that the prices should be fair above all. What does it mean

Firstly, we don’t hide our prices for translation. Many translation agencies “feel shy” to show their prices on their web-sites. Why do they do so? Try to guess yourself.

Secondly, the prices indicated below in a table “conform to reality” and we guarantee that the managers of our agency will calculate the cost of your order precisely according to the price list and with your discount >>

Thirdly, our main principle is “fair translations for fair price”. Nevertheless, in some cases it is very hard to indicate the exact price. In this very case, the price will be negotiated. But there is one “but”! Such cases are quite rare, to be more precise – even exceptional. They are, for example, as follows: a very bad quality of the original, an illegible hand-written text (medical certificates, etc.), the translation of travel cheques, receipts, etc., list of terms, abbreviations, mixed texts (documents with several languages, words from different languages resurvey, and one language does not repeat the second one), etc.

Fourthly, a manager, as a rule, cannot identify the exact price for you, because the order’s price is calculated by number of characters of a COMPLETED translation (except hieroglyphic languages: Korean, Japanese, Chinese, etc.). For example: the Russian language (as well as Ukrainian), as a rule, increases the number of characters in a completed translation by 5-12%, comparing to the basic European languages.

Dear Customers!

Should you provide no preferable requirements to the translation of NAMES, SURNAMES, GEOGRAPHICAL NAMES, and NAMES OF ENTERPRISES, ORGANIZATIONS, and other PERSONAL NAMES, the translation is done at the discretion of a translator. In this case, the claims concerning the translation are not processed.

The prices are stated  in UAH adjusted for taxation.

Footnote:
* - 1 conventional page is equal to 1800 characters with space and punctuation marks.
** - minimal order - 3 hours.
1 - the price for translation of general subject area texts
2 - the price for translation of higher complicacy, specific texts (judicial, technical, economic, etc. subject area)
3 - the price for translation of texts of banking, aviation, medical and telecommunication subject area
4 - minimal price is stated for interpreting of general subject area, which does not require specialized knowledge.

Notes:

1. Terms of an order:
   - 1-5 pages – 1-2 working days; 5-20 pages – 3-5 working days; 20–50 pages – 4-8 working days;
   - if the volume of the document is more than 50 pages, the terms are calculated on the following  basis: 8 pages a day + proofreading (50 pages a day);
   - rush order are to be paid in double size.
2. Translation of standard documents – from UAH 20 depending on language. Standard documents include: certificates (birth, marriage, death, change of surname, divorce, etc), certificates (taken at the local building-utilities administrator offices, known as ZhEK, certificate of good conduct, income statements etc.), diplomas (without supplement). 3. Typing, printing (1 sample), proofreading, disk/diskette copy are included into the price of translation.
4. Notary certification of a translation for 1 document: UAH95 - 160, certification by the stamp of “translation agency” - UAH10.
5. Legalization: Ministry for Justice – UAH 250 (5 working days), Ministry for Foreign Affairs– UAH250 (2-5 working days). Urgent implementation of the service is available.
6. Apostille – UAH 250-350 (depending on the institution).
7. Legalization in embassies: UAH 500-700 (depending on the embassy) + consular fees in the embassy.
8. Сertificate of good conduct reissued - 300 UAH (3 business days)
9. Duplicate document reissued- from 600 UAH to 1000 UAH
10. Department of Justice Seal in Ukraine regions - from 250 UAH up to 450 UAH
11. The prices are stated in UAH adjusted for taxation.
12. Depending on volume from 2 up to 10% progressive discount system  is foreseen.
